Research Projects

Project 01:Optimization of Optical Dielectrophoretic(ODEP) Force

  • To optimize ODEP performance: I have explored size- and position-based simulation and experimental study

  • Used COMSOL for simulation and a FEOET device in an oil chamber to demonstrate experimental performance.

  • Published this study in Micromachines as a cover story

Project 02: Optical Dielectrophoretic (ODEP) for On-demand droplet manipulation in microchannel

  • Successfully trapped, released, and merged water droplets in a microchannel experimentally through ODEP technology.

  • Trying to generate droplets through ODEP technology in the generation area of microchannel

  • Fabricated microchannel with SU8 photoresist on a silicon wafer in a cleanroom to make the mold with PDMS.

Project 03:Smartphone integrated paper-based micro detection platform

  • Developed a smartphone-integrated platform to rapidly detect microorganisms through easy smartphone apps to make the screening process fast.

  • Working on different applications using this platform

  • Drafted a review paper about smartphone integrated system

Project 04: (Undergraduate research)
Effect of Orientation and Filling ratio on thermal performance for a closed loop pulsating heat pipe Using Different Nano Fluids

  • Constructed experimental setup to find out the effect of setup orientation and filling ratio at pulsating heat pipe using different nanofluids

  • Suggested best and optimized performed nanofluid among the commonly usable working fluids.

  • Published as a conference paper in RUET ICMIME 2019 at Rajshahi, Bangladesh

Other Projects:

  • “Automated Gardening System”- is an autonomous agricultural production system where we controlled 8 agricultural parameters and created each of them artificially

  • A shell & Tube Heat Exchanger prototype
